At Renaissance Conservatories, we’re accustomed to travelling across the whole of South Devon to install premium extensions for homeowners looking to enhance their quality of life at home. We worked on one such home in Teign Village, for a couple who were looking for a conservatory they could be proud of and enjoy all-year-round. Beginning with a visit to the Renaissance factory in Newton Abbot, Mr and Mrs Hewlett saw both uPVC and aluminium frames and decided they wanted an aluminium conservatory.
A tough and durable aluminium frame conservatory
Aluminium is an excellent choice for conservatory frames because it’s a very strong material that not only looks good but is also sure to last you a very long time. The biggest factor regarding why Mr and Mrs Hewlett chose aluminium was because of the slimmer sightlines of the frames, allowing them to really appreciate the amazing views around them. After they’d decided on an aluminium conservatory, we set out the design and plans with them to ensure everything lined up with how they pictured it.

Sitting atop the premium aluminium conservatory frame is an equally impressive tiled roof. The intent behind the SupaLite tiled roof is to make sure the conservatory is comfortable to use no matter what time of year it is or what weather is being experienced. Boasting U-values as low as 0.18, the SupaLite roof system is also insulated enough to eliminate the noise normally heard from weather like heavy rainfall or hail.
